
Our Story.
As with most things in life, the “right place” and the “right time” play a big role in success. Virtual Accounting Advisors LLC exists because of this principle, believing we meet clients at the right time to help manage and grow their business.
Virtual Accounting Advisors LLC (VAA) was founded by Jennifer Banner and Michael McDonough in 2023 because they were both in the right place at the right time.
After a chance meeting, Mike hired Jen as an employee in his CPA firm, working on bookkeeping to support tax planning and preparation. Mike believed that Jen was the best bookkeeper he had ever worked with. Well, Jen had a bigger and better idea, and the rest is history.
Jen and Mike started Virtual Accounting Advisors LLC to provide high level bookkeeping and accounting services to clients anywhere and anytime.

We have standard processes that make every engagement successful. We start with meetings to identify needs, and develop a statement of work and agree on what needs to be done.
We identify problem areas and come up with solutions to fix, with a smooth onboarding process that allows us to be productive quickly.

Controls
We have a monthly and quarterly review process.
Each client has a monthly checklist and review from the bookkeeper processing the work, and a quarterly review done by management to ensure a complete job.

We provide monthly/quarterly reports to help clients manage their business.
